Improving Learning Outcomes

Mobile learning and ICT
Mobile learning is a powerful way of re-engaging disillusioned
students and improving learning outcomes in schools. And today,
with every school requiring a 'virtual learning environment' (VLE),
it is essential that schools extend education outside the
boundaries of the classroom.
By using laptops to access learning materials and coursework
from anywhere on the school's campus, and from home, students are
free to work from anywhere, and gain greater access to the learning
materials they need. What's more, mobile technology helps with
teacher training, lesson planning and monitoring students'
progress.
To enable all these benefits, schools need to replace static and
inflexible computer rooms with laptops for each student, so that
they can, literally, learn anywhere.
