Syscap signs exclusive agreement to provide finance for world’s leading provider of CAD software
company news from Autodesk.
Syscap, the UK’s leading independent IT financing company, has signed an exclusive agreement to rollout the first UK finance programme for Autodesk products, the world leading provider of computer aided design (CAD) software to the manufacturing and engineering industries. The service, known as Autodesk Finance, will provide finance for the full range of Autodesk’s 80 CAD products. These include design software for civil engineers, architects, mechanical engineers and animators of content for films, video and computer software. Syscap says that the availability of leasing finance for investment in Autodesk software will be a huge boost to the UK manufacturing sector as it looks to innovate and boost productivity during the downturn without straining cashflow. Autodesk Finance will be launched with a range of promotions, such as introductory payment holidays and special low rates of finance. Autodesk supplies CAD software to nine million professionals in 185 countries and generated $2.3 billion in revenues in 2009. Philip White, Chief Executive of Syscap, comments: “Innovative design is what British industry does best so this agreement will mean that any cashflow or budgetary constraints during the recession will be less of an impediment to investment in the cutting edge software on which organisations depend to innovate.” “Autodesk Finance will for the first time allow manufacturers to invest in new productivity enhancing technology without having to bear the entire cost upfront. This will mean that they can pay for the investment as they are deriving real cost saving benefits.” |
