Mobile learning and ICT

Mobile learning is a powerful way of re-engaging disillusioned students and improving learning outcomes in schools. And today, with every school requiring a ‘virtual learning environment’ (VLE), it’s essential that schools extend education outside the boundaries of the classroom.

 

By using laptops to access learning materials and coursework from anywhere on the school’s campus, and from home, students are free to work from anywhere, and gain greater access to the learning materials they need. What’s more, mobile technology helps with teacher training, lesson planning and monitoring students’ progress.

 

To enable all these benefits, schools need to replace static and inflexible computer rooms with laptops for each student, so that they can, literally, learn anywhere.
