About the Syscap Foundation

Founded in April 2007, the Syscap Foundation raises money for charities that bring technology to children. In this way, we can help children who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access ICT to communicate, learn and play without boundaries.

Funds are raised through Syscap events, contributions from Syscap partners and by employees choosing to support the foundation when taking part in a sponsored event.

Foundation Chairman, Robert Eggleston explains the reasons for setting up the charitable arm: “Many Syscap employees have children. Most of us are fortunate to have families that are healthy, but we’re only too aware that many others are not so lucky. We wanted to support charities that use technology to help children under difficult circumstances, so they can continue their education, make friends, have fun and expand their horizons.”
