Philip White
Chief Executive Officer

Philip has been a key driver in Syscap’s growth for 13 years, over which time the company’s turnover has increased from £3m to £135m. With a strong background in sales and technology, Philip became Sales Director in 1999, and has taken a decisive role in shaping the company’s future direction and success. He was appointed CEO in July 2006 following a funded management buyout.

Sean Read
Chief Operating Officer

Sean joined Syscap in 2000 with considerable experience managing large teams and business units. He helped develop Syscap’s education division into market leaders, thanks to a deep understanding of the sector’s specialised requirements. Sean played a leading role in 2006’s private equity-funded management buyout and is one of three key individual Syscap shareholders, with overall responsibility for operations.

Mark Gidge
Director

Mark successfully founded and ran Professional Finance & Leasing (PFL) in 1990, selling the business ten years later to form Syscap Professions. With 20 years’ finance experience, Mark’s leadership has helped Syscap Professions become the UK’s leading independent provider of finance to professional practices. Mark was a prime mover in 2006’s private equity-funded management buyout and is one of three major individual shareholders.

Chris Ellis
Chief Financial Officer

Chris joined Syscap in 2006, having previously held CFO positions in some of the world’s biggest finance companies. He has a broad range of experience in mergers and acquisitions, treasury, risk and the management of large corporate finance teams, at both European and international level.
